A note from our Activity Director

The purpose is to provide an activity program that will be comprehensive enough to engage, entertain and meet the social and personal needs of the resident regardless to their cognitive/mental status.

The goal is to try and stimulate, restore or maintain as much of the cognitive preserve as possible and reduce the need for psychotropic medications. To provide small resident preferred activities that improves individual participation.

The expected outcome should be that residents will be able to do those tasks that have slipped away because of lack of stimulation but still remain in the latent memory i.e. brushing their teeth, combing their hair, eating, singing, dancing etc.
